Pirossa

 Pirossa

Name: Pirossa
Nickname: The Gold Corsair

Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Martian (Khedeph)
Age: 60 (apparently in his late 20s/early 30s)

Occupation: Captain of the pirate ship Olympias
Height: 6'0"
Build: Lithe, graceful, flexible- dancer's body
Hair: Golden, tufty, about shoulder-length
Eyes: Lapis blue
Skin: Golden
Racial traits: Khedephi, or Gold Martians, all have a third vertical eye on their forehead which emits psionic energy. This is covered with a solid, opaque nictitating membrane that makes the eye appear more like an inset jewel than an eye, and the color of this third eye matches that of the irises of the primary two. Additionally, the pupils of the primary eyes are shaped almost like vertical hourglasses: one dot on top of another, connected by a line. Their ears are pointed and stick out from the sides of the head almost like flattened cat ears (see pictures). Their eyebrows aren't made of hair; rather, they're a series of scales that form an arch over each eye.
Tattoos/Piercings: Pierced ears (gold hoop with a single bead in each ear); extensive golden filigree tattoos on face, neck, chest and hips (reference pictures contain several variations on the tattoos. Because I'm neither a sadist nor a masochist, the tats tend to vary in complexity from picture to picture and artist to artist, and as long as the filigree look remains intact, variation is not a problem at all.)

Clothing: Clothing is highly variable, but Pirossa wears a lot of gold, lapis and dark red colors (think of Egyptian art). Additionally, he wears a complex golden mask with clockworks that mirror his facial expressions or misdirect with false ones. (See reference picture.) He also has a three-cornered black hat with golden trim that he wears fairly often.

Personality: Pirossa is a flamboyant ladies' man who, like Rian, has serious problems thinking out the consequences of his actions. He simply does what he wants at any given moment and can appear almost bipolar or split-personalitied to an onlooker. Driven far more by intuition and a sense of self-preservation than by logic or reason, Pirossa spends about half his time causing mischief, and the other half trying to avoid the inevitable comeuppance of that mischief. Noncommittal and fickle, he nevertheless makes friends easily; he's charming, easygoing, handsome and romantic, and thoroughly enjoys wooing numerous women at the same time, all the while making promises he never intends to keep. Even though he's irresponsible and at times cowardly, he doesn't do any of this out of a real sense of malice. Pirossa has two ways of seeing any situation: it's either fun, or not-fun. If there's a choice, he'll take fun every time.
